The ACES Erasmus Project recently marked a significant milestone with a successful dissemination event series held at Minjiang University in Fuzhou, China. Led by Assistant Professor Alexios Kythreotis, the initiative aimed to introduce ACES educational materials to Chinese students and faculty, fostering cross-cultural academic collaboration and gathering valuable feedback to refine the resources further.
The first event attracted an audience of approximately 100 students, accompanied by faculty members, eager to learn about the ACES project. This session served as an introduction to ACES’s objectives, showcasing its pilot materials while assessing their effectiveness. By gathering responses and insights from participants, the event aimed to strengthen the project’s visibility within the Chinese academic community, encouraging ongoing engagement.
Following the larger introductory event, two more specialized sessions were held for students enrolled in Financial Accounting and Finance courses. Approximately 40 students attended each of these targeted sessions, where they engaged deeply with the ACES educational materials. Both sessions sparked fruitful discussions, allowing students to explore the project resources in depth, pose questions, and offer constructive feedback based on their academic experiences.
These dissemination events at Minjiang University represent a pivotal step in the ACES Erasmus Project’s mission to expand its reach and adaptability across diverse educational environments. The insights gathered will be invaluable in refining ACES resources to better suit the needs of students worldwide, ultimately enhancing the project’s impact on a global scale.
